Our Mission
Pet Savers of Shreveport is dedicated to rescuing, protecting, and placing abandoned or unwanted pets in loving homes. We also provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care to help reduce pet overpopulation and improve the health and well-being of animals in our community.

Our History
Pet Savers of Shreveport was founded in 2005 with a simple but powerful mission: to help abandoned and unwanted pets find loving homes. What started as a small grassroots effort has grown into a vital resource for animals in need throughout the Shreveport area and beyond.
Pet Savers of Shreveport was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, beginning our mission to rescue and protect abandoned pets.
We established our shelter facility at 4380 Noyes Dr, providing a safe haven for animals in need of care and rehabilitation. Our services to include spay/neuter assistance programs and increased our community outreach efforts.
Today, we continue to serve the Shreveport community and beyond, having helped thousands of animals find their forever homes.
